All active, Full-Time Team Members are
automatically enrolled in STD at no additional cost, provided they
reside in a state other than those that have state-mandated disability
benefits (CA, NY, NJ, RI, HI and PR).
Team Members who are eligible for state-mandated disability benefits
will be covered under those state plans for STD. State-mandated STD
benefits will vary by state. Please refer to each state’s disability
website for additional information.
LTD benefits pick up where STD leaves off. Your monthly benefit amount
is calculated based on your pre-disability earnings (including regular
wages and commissions) but does not include awards, bonuses, overtime
pay or employer contributions to any deferred compensation arrangement
or pension plan.
LTD Pre-Existing Conditions
You will be considered to have a pre-existing condition if:
You received medical treatment, consultation, care or services,
including diagnostic measures, or were prescribed drugs or medicines in
the three months just prior to your effective date of coverage; or

date of coverage unless you have been treatment-free for 12 consecutive
months after your effective date of coverage.
Through Fidelity
The Niagara 401(k) Retirement Plan through Fidelity Investments helps
you save for a secure and well-funded future through pre-tax or
after-tax (Roth) contributions and a company match. You are eligible to
participate in the 401(k) plan on the first of the month after 30 days
of active, full-time employment, as long as you are at least 18 years
of age. You can make changes to your plan at any time during the year
by visiting Fidelity's
website.
• The 2019 IRS Maximum contribution for pre-tax and Roth is $19,000
• The 2019 IRS Maximum for Catch-up Contributions is $6,000

Niagara matches your pre-tax and Roth contributions starting first of
the month following 30 days of service. You are required to contribute
to the plan to receive match. The company matches $0.33 of every $1 you
contribute up to 6% of your gross pay. To maximize your match,
contribute at least 6% each pay period.
Starting in 2019, the match vesting schedule is a 3-year cliff
vesting (0%, 0%, 100%). That means on a Team Member’s 3rd Anniversary
with Niagara, all past and future matching contributions become 100%
vested. Team members with 2 years of service will retain their 20%
vesting. On their 3rd anniversary, they will be 100% vested. Don’t
forget, your personal contributions to the 401(k) are always 100%
vested!
The EasySaver Plus Plan allows you to save for retirement goals with a range of investment choices.
If you decide to make pre-tax contributions, they will be deducted from your paycheck before federal, and in most cases, state and local taxes are withheld. Pretax contributions may lower your current taxable income during the year the contributions are made. When you retire and your account is withdrawn, your distribution will be taxed then unless you roll the balance over to another tax-qualified plan or account.
If you decide to make Roth 401(k) contributions, they will be deducted from your paycheck after taxes. Your combined Roth 401(k) and pre-tax contributions cannot exceed $18,500. You will not pay taxes on withdrawals, provided any distribution from this account occurs at least five years following the year your first Roth 401(k) contribution is made to the Plan and you have attained age 59.5, died or become disabled.
If you are age 50 and over, or will be turning 50 during the calendar year, and contribute the maximum deferral limit allowed, you may be eligible to contribute an additional $6,000 in 2018.
